Rhonda Greer was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Rufus King High School, graduating in 1966. Beginning work in that same year, she also attended about two years of college. Work experience includes working for various branches of government, i.e. the County and the City. Rhonda has also tried various business ventures in the wedding and a diet food industries. After reaching about 55 years of age, and not having a real career, a realization set in about what would happen for the rest of her life, financially. Who is going to hire a 55 year old without a degree or without concrete proof that you are potentially a valuable member of the workforce? This is a very important question because unless you can present yourself as desirable future employee, you need to already be where you can prosper. Being over 50, pounding the pavement looking for work can be a eye-opening experience. You can find a position, but is it going to pay your bills and allow you to put aside something for your soon-to-arrive retirement? I think not. What is necessary in this case is that you have to re-invent yourself in order to take full advantage of your abilities. This is what I am trying to do and I truly, truly hope that I can inspire, and motivate others to do the same.
